Chanel Première Rings Collection

Categories:Jewelry & Watches

chanel_ss15-premiere-rings1When it rains, it pours. I’ve been on a roll lately as far as wedding bands are concerned (well, it is the month of love after all), what with the likes of Bulgari, Cartier, Chaumet and Van Cleef & Arpels all making appearances on the blog recently.

One more collection I’ll like to bring your attention too would be the Première Ringscollection from Chanel, a more elegant and understated wedding band unlike Chanel’s other ceramic and bling offering, the Ultra Ring collection.

Inspired by the shape of Place Vendôme (I didn’t even know that till today), the Première has been forever immortalised in their line of luxury timepieces and most recently, as a clutch that was presented along with Chanel’s Cruise 2015 collection. And then, there are the wedding bands, available in two variations that come either with, or without the pavé diamonds.

chanel_ss15-premiere-rings2Available in rose gold, yellow gold and of course, white gold, the beauty of these rings is that they are also stackable, which pretty much means you can keep adding them on after, for your anniversary, your push present or well, any other reason you can think of. Priced from SGD1760 and up, you’ll find these beauties at Chanel’s watch and fine jewellery boutique at Ngee Ann City.

Chaumet Hortensia Precious Gold Rings

Categories:Jewelry & Watches

chaumet_hortensia_precious-gold-ringsA French high jeweller better known for their ornate creations since its founding back in 1780, it would come as a surprise to most that Chaumet also has pieces that are more accessible yet no less beautiful. Take their Hortensia collection, for example. An imaginary garden made up of heart-stopping jewellery pieces that range from elaborate rings to delicate head ornaments (read: tiaras), these pieces will easily set you back by tens of thousands.

Then there are these, also part of the Hortensia collection but come with one less zero on the end. No less beautiful than her higher-priced siblings, it’s the workmanship that must shine in a piece so simple, a trio of rings that come in rose, yellow or white gold. Priced at SGD2400 for the first two and SGD2800 for the one in white gold, it’s the closest thing to quite literally wearing a garden of beautiful blooms on your finger. And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there’s no better time to head down yourself for a closer look.
